1. Acceptance

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Cecchin app and website at cecchin.co (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.

2. What Cecchin is — and is not

Cecchin is a personal artificial-intelligence tool that helps you understand your finances, organize your day, and plan toward your goals. It analyzes and recommends — it produces information and suggestions for you to act on.

Cecchin does not move money, make payments, place trades, or carry out transactions on your accounts, and it is not a substitute for professional advice. Nothing in the Service is legal, financial, tax, accounting, or investment advice. All decisions and actions are your own. AI-generated output may contain errors — you are responsible for reviewing it before you rely on it.

3. Your account

• You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for the activity under your account.
• You are responsible for keeping your sign-in secure. Tell us promptly at hello@cecchin.co if you suspect unauthorized use.
• Accounts are for a single individual and may not be shared.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service in violation of applicable laws.
• Attempt unauthorized access to any part of the Service, other users' data, or our systems.
• Use automated tools to scrape, overload, or disrupt the Service.
• Upload content you do not have the right to share, or use the Service to harm others.

5. Third-party services

The Service relies on third-party providers, including Amazon Web Services (hosting, storage, and the Amazon Bedrock AI service running Anthropic's models), Amazon Cognito (sign-in), and Plaid Inc. (connecting your financial accounts, if you choose to). Your use of connected third-party services is also subject to those providers' terms, and we are not responsible for their content, accuracy, or practices. How we handle the data involved is described in our Privacy Policy.

6. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that its output will be accurate or suitable for your situation. Use of the Service is at your own risk.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Cecchin shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any financial loss or decision arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the claim, or one hundred U.S. dollars.

Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

8. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end access if these Terms are violated or as needed to protect the Service or its users. On termination, your data is handled as described in the Privacy Policy.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts located in Florida.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Effective date" at the top indicates the last revision. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
